i've had her for 3 classes now and she has been great in each one. she is always avaiable outside of class to help students. a little language barrier but not to bad. no knowledge is needed, as long as you put forth some kind of an effort. aced every class with her.

took this class with no programing experience. probably an easy "A" if you've seen this stuff before but found she went at a pace i just couldnt keep up with. Its supposed to be an introductory course but she seemed to expect you to know the basics. hated every minute. BEWARE!

i literally fell asleep EVERYDAY EXCEPT 2-3.5 TIMES! she doesn't know how to answer your questions, seriously off guard. i'm suprised i passed. just B.S. over the homework, but make sure Shamik gives your the correct points, cuz you may get cheated. and have someone else do the work for you, even if you HAVE TO PAY!

She has a heavy accent but is by far one of the best programming professors!She goes over everything in detail and is always in her office available to help.Read the online powerpoint notes -they're shorter than the book and cover all the basics. We had 4 hw's,midterm,final and about 5 quizzes-fair

Very easy class. The class involves matlab but she does not test on it. All of her notes are posted online and attendance is not required. I aced every test, just make sure to do the hw well. Toughest part of class was the hw.

Very rough spanish accent. Notes are directly from powerpoint which you have acces to download from her website.(4)difficult homework assignments about 5 codes each.(5)crucial quizes that are semi-difficult and are worth 100 points for one or two problems.(2)tests which are fairly easy (t/f-multi).

She's a decent teacher and very organized with her presentations. However, she is very hard to understand and she never clearly understands questions that students ask. The language barrier is a huge problem. I would not take her again...

Hard to understand, boring to no end, PowerPoints and formulas often wrong, but extremely easy teacher. Just make sure you go to the class before the exam and catch the review where all you do all class is problems very similar to the ones going to be on the exam. An easy A.

I am sitting in class right now and I want to kill myself! I cannot understand a thing she says. The class might as well be in spanish. I would recommend not taking this class its not even required! The tests are tricky but then again how are you supposed to take a test on c witout a computer anyway
