Just seemed to me that this professor was a bit self centered. I think he could of done more. I disliked that he makes you buy another book that he wrote, very unhelpful. I think he may be a good person a good to other student, just not for me.

Awesome Prof! Do your quizzes and make sure that you attend some classes. He gives you all the tools you need to be successful and will even let you know about certain internships and job openings. He is the reason why I have such a good resume. Take his class seriously and you'll be a very successful person in whatever career you chose.

So this is for anyone trying to figure out how difficult online classes are for Fire Tech. They are not too bad. Almost everything about the class was great. Nothing too unexpected. The worst thing about this class is the Fire Technology Reader required for it which is written by Professor Coffman. It is poorly written and edited.

Chief Coffman is a very good, and helpful teacher. I took FTEC 103 to 106 with all A's. Just do all the quizzes and the term project, you'll be fine. One more thing, DON'T EVER COME LATE TO HIS CLASSES.

Coffman is super chill. Just do the readings and quizzes and you will do absolutely fine in his class. Always show up on time or don't bother coming to class. He is very helpful if you ask questions. He doesn't ask for much from his students but to do your assignments.

Coffman is a great professor. Remember this, if anything: For the Term Project - show up to the group meetings, and do your share of the work! Every individual person will grade each other on their participation and work. It is worth 100 pts... the final is worth 100 pts! so yeah... dont be lazy! take the online quizes! do your work.
