Misunderstood by many students because he tends to challenge traditional teaching styles by forcing students to think for themselves without simply regurgitating textbook material. A nice man but OK he seriously needs to give out one single textbook to use and follow it himself because oh my goodness this man cannot teach. He rambles on for half the class about one topic and im frantically writing notes and he says BUT THATS NOT IMPORTANT and wont be on test. He said this every class! All q's had to be answered in two words.

Interesting topics but found midterms really hard. I did much better on the final, but maybe that's because I knew more of what to expect. Didn't really enjoy the class because the material can be hard to learn, but still ended up with and A- so can't complain.

horrible. his lecture was the saddest part of my day. his exams seem easy, but are marked brutally - doubt Darwin would pass. don't email him, he has no computer. do not go see him when you fail, he'll tell you you're wrong. apparently 42% was above class average, and there's nothing wrong with that
