Take this class! I wrote for a newspaper for a year and a half and thought I knew it all, and this class definitely taught me a lot. Constructive criticism is something you have to be willing to take, but you will become a better writer and he's really helpful.

The class is generally easy if you're willing to put in the work and accept/learn from criticism. He is a great guy and wants his students to be good journalists. He still e-mails me about journalism stories and is very helpful. Watch out for the midterm though.
