Professor Briere is similar to other language teachers I've had before. His tests are pretty difficult and the classes moves pretty quickly, but he's good at explaining grammar concepts and reviews a lot before tests.

I had Professor Briere for both my Spring Term class and a Spanish 102 class. He is funny and personable, even if the course itself has a lot of material. He takes concepts and breaks it down for students to better understand them. He does tend to ramble off-topic, but he's truly passionate about his classes and has a positive attitude everyday!

I took FYS Don Juan with him and he is hilarious! Very detailed summary of each part of the book and comparative essays for finals make it an easier class!

I got bored with the class because I had already learned everything presented on the class from high school. Other than that, he was a very funny, laid back guy. He's a good Spanish teacher. Keep up with the online work and reading to understand the material. He will explain what will be on the tests and final in detail so there's less anxiety.

Very easy and lenient. Not a lot of homework and almost all that you do get is done online. I think it was a completion grade and didn't really matter if you submitted it on time. Went over test material really well.
