genuinely wants students to succeed in academics. As for forcing participation- students should be picked upon once in a while, it builds character, or makes people realize they have none and need to build it. A final point relates to his incredible clarity when lecturing.

One of my worst profs so far. He randomly picks students out of class, horrifying them no doubt. He's not funny at all, but SCREAMS his 'jokes' at you. His lectures made the course incoherent: Canadian Politics should be basic! He went through very in-depth material that really didn't flow whatsoever. I would not take another class with him.

Course on federalism with very interesting reading material. Good website and sources for students. Well set up course. Professor Cohn should understand that not all students want to challenge him and not all students are a threat. Some student just want to learn and he is obviously the most intelligent in the room, he doesn't need to prove it.

Terrible. The worst professor I had during my undergrad. He spends far too much time cynically and abrasively preaching his own political beliefs. He frequently dresses up his political biases into obnoxious and unnecessary forms of what he believes to be “humour”.

I have yet to meet a professor more engaging and refreshing than this jovial man. The tangents professor Cohn sometimes goes on are, in my opion, positive. not only do they encourage reflection, they turn ones mind towards the study of political Science.Not many profs go where he goes.Commanding.

Once the computer gets going lectures seem to go smoothly. Perhaps some students look negatively upon his overdramatization, I think it adds value to his lecture.Professor Cohn has impeccable credentials in the area of social policy, I refer to him as the "SUFA KING".(no pun intented)
