Comment:

Had him for Lesssons from Europe. Great professor who's lectures were both extremely interesting and helpful. I learned a lot and he made every class worth going to. For poly sci people, his exams were easy because the lectures (which he posts online) and the assigned readings prepared you well. Definitely take him if you want to enjoy learning.

Comment:

Pretty good seminar. 8 5 page papers and thats it. Attendance is mandatory and he usually calls on you to see what you think about a topic. Reading is a must or else your not going to do well. Overall a good professor, despite that he never responds to emails and hands papers back late.

Pretty good seminar professor. The class consisted of 8 5 page papers but he doesnt always get the papers back to you and doesnt really respond to emails that well. The only problem with this class is that it drags but he tries to bring everyone into the conversation so youre not too bored.

Keleman is a great lecturer which makes the class go by smoothly and attendance is not mandatory for his lecture but only for recitation sessions. Some of his TA's are cute so that is a plus but this class is very interesting but definitely not an easy A. 20% recitation attendance and participation (or no credit) 20% mid term 20% paper, 40% final

Prof Kelemen definitely offers alot of insight in European affairs and politics...HOWEVER, beware of this class if you want an easy A!!! Although attendance isn't mandatory, his lectures are painfully long and you won't understand the slides if you don't come to class =( My advice is to go to office hours, and class if you want a decent grade!!

Prof. K is a really cool guy. He's probably the most intelligent professor I've ever had. His tests are challenging. He's not an easy grader. But he busts his ass making his lectures. So, if you work hard in his class, you can get a good grade. Getting a B is more than possible. He's also willing to talk to students at any time.

If you're interested in Euorpean Politics, Keleman is the right professor. His expertise is in European politics, and although he doesn't teach the EU seminar each semester, he does teach other good EU classes. Would recommend.

He gives a review sheet so u know what to study. Exams were average midterm, final, 2 page paper. Tons of info on the slide plus he explains things. Goes through lecture fast and says u can look over slides on website but doesn't post all of them up until 2 days before exam. I would take this class if you're interested in env't.

if you are intested def take this class. its not boring but a lot of material is covered. this is a great class and he is a wonderful professor but its not that easy. attendance is not mandatory but you should def go to class and take the notes, they will help. all around great professor

This class is so different from others at Rutgers, trust me you wont be bored. Lots of reading for relatively easy midterm and final, and a paper on economics. Did good but required a lot of studying. I think he taught this class at oxford before coming to Rutgers, so take that into consideration. Overall worth it.

Very easy-going and friendly. However, there is a tremendous amount of material that's covered in each class. There are a ton of words on every slide and on top of that, he's always elaborating on them making it extremely difficult to take down notes from both slides and oral lecture. Studying for the final is like memorizing a bible of notes!
