Participation is a MUST in his seminars if you want to pass. He regularly calls on students to get their opinions on the readings and to contribute to a discussion on the materials. The readings were fantastic, and my only fault was that he showed too many dry films.

He is soooo boring. His British accent is so hard to understand and his syllabus is just bull. It's unclear and doesn't ask fully what he wants in the assignments unless you actually ask him in person. The TAs were nice and flexible but Yon does not teach well.

Believes in the students- mutual respect... phenomenal professor. The feeling g in the class was relaxed and fun conversation and media shows... Adults in a room discussing culture... Best class ever! We need more profs like him.

A really great prof. He knows his stuff and is very passionate about teaching. He genually cares about his students. He loves to use a variety of media and likes it when you strech academically. His assignments are open ended without being chaotic.
