Amazing Prof! Her class is interesting, funny, and relevant. She uses pop culture to explain all the theories, which is super helpful. All of her assignments are fun, and the exam was pretty easy if you studied. She posts all her slides online, so if you miss a lecture your fine, but I never did because they were all hilarious!

She's is such a kind soul. I enjoyed her class. If you respect her and others opinions, she will give you respect in return. Easy marker, Easy A. Show up to class, do your recreational journals and participation online and you can pass with flying colours. Memorize your slides too, which is an easy task to do, Exams are very fair in content.

One of the best professors hands down. She cares about what she teaches and making sure you learn it and it shows. Really clear at presenting material, all the tests and assignments have clear guidelines to follow and she responds to emails within an hour without fail. If you're thinking about taking any of her classes... DO IT!

very sweet prof. 15% of your mark was contributing to discussion threads online which really brought your mark up. No textbook needed and only need to study off her slides that she posts on blackboard. Exam and midterm were not worth too much and were only composed of 60 multiple choice. Only problem with her was that she did not answer her emails

Dr. Soulliere is the best! I took her online pop-culture as my elective. She is very sweet and understanding. All of your work is online. She does lots of "team stuff" all for participation. Only 3 assignments and they were awesome! I did all of mine on Harry Potter. She is understanding of workloads so she gives you loads of time to complete

TONS of opportunity to get a good grade in this class. She uses online discussion, a learning log, two short written assignments, a midterm, and a final exam. Great relating of course content to pop culture. No need to buy the text (unless you learn better with it). Go to class and you'll be fine.

She is so nice, she only teaches from the slides, which are also posted online. Don't necessarily need to take notes in addition to the slides. She makes a lot of references to TV shows to explain sociological stuff, but you can get her examples even if you didn't see the TV show. She likes memes. She's funny and a sweetheart.

What a great professor! Different from any prof I've had thus far in my University career. Instead of dry, boring assignments, her assignments make learning fun. She makes pop-culture references and INSISTS that her students watch Orphan Black (which I obviously ended up watching). If you study her slides and go to class, you will do very well.

Love Danielle Soulliere, great professor and approachable for additional help. Her office door is always open for students to come in and ask her questions about assignments. She helped me a lot throughout my first year at the University. Highly recommend to take her class.

Soulliere goes above and beyond to try and help her students understand the material she is presented. She's really into pop culture - which was a bonus! Includes media into her lectures to make things more interesting. Tests are more application based - answers come straight from her notes - NO TRICKS! Love, love, love her!

Danielle's class is very easy because it is discussion based and there is little to no work required to pass. Midterms were a bit difficult. Hard to study for. The class does not need to be attended to pass, everything is online and she DOES NOT USE the textbook at all, not even on midterms/exams. recommend taking this class for easy average boost

Amazing professor! love her!! Very approachable, great personality, always there for you if you have questions. Class is a piece of cake, one midterm, final and an project that's worth more than the midterm (mark booster). Looking forward to taking my upper year courses with her!!

She's a great teacher, i would suggest taking constructions of deviance with her. No tests, simply presentation and a final paper. Lectures were incredibly laid back, very understanding if you miss a class here and there, and provides thorough feedback. As a 4th year class, she genuinely wants to give you a decent grade.

She was talking but I fell asleep. So hard to pay attention for the 3 hours. Goes from one subject area to another. Friendly, but chose the wrong career path. Doesn't mark assignments, uses teaching assistants who don't know how to mark. Gave us a mandatory $100 textbook which we NEVER used.
