Hard marker, picky about grammar, sentence structure and english, even if you've been to uni for four years.he recommends you take writing courses on the side, and i dropped out.Apparently he said that to everyone and many got Bs.He doesnt give out marks until the end.he's disorganized and stutters,so it was frustrating.Take it if you can handle it

This course could have potential, but it was ruined by a dry text and Juergen's incapability to teach. I'm sure he's knowledgeable, but he seemed completely out of it. Class = 1-2 student presentations (1hr each) filled out with tidbits of Juergen's opinions, along with painfully outdated videos. Less than half of the class would bother to show up.

Juergen is a bit of a scatterbrain but he means well. It is obvious that social work is his passion. He's extremely left wing and possibly a conspiry theorist. On the tests, just pick the most anti-conservative, left-wing socialist answer and you'll do well.

Like others have mentioned, Juergen definitely is not the most engaging teacher. However, his class is relatively easy. Juergen administers 4 multiple choice tests, containing questions based soley on your readings from the text book. Don't take this class if you're looking for something fun and engaging, it is neither.

Juergen knows his material very well, but is not the most engaging in teaching it. Lectures are usually PowerPoint presentations based on the book, and tests are multiple-choice also usually based on the book. He's actually a very nice guy, and you can have some good discussions in class if you engage him about the topic.

This is the most boring class ever, he is the most scatter brain guy i have ever come into contact with. The first few 3 hour class were spent going over the course outline. Then the firts hour of all other classes were spent watching him figure out what was going on. Do not take him, I was almost bored to tears!!! literally

This guy seems nice but he is clueless when it comes to teaching. He ruined a great class and rambled on about nothing. He took more than 5 weeks to mark the midterm. He doesn't even know what is going on in class or in pop culture, which is important to the subject. The stress he causes is not worth his easy marking. Avoid him.

Marks based on a midterm, final (both are easy), presentation, participation (done by signing in in some classes), and a couple of assignments that I'm not sure he even marked, he may have just used them for participation. Boring class and simple tasks seem to take him forever but it's a good course and you will do well if you show up!

This teacher is very nice and extremely helpful; it's to bad that he is so unorganized. Very knowledgable and insightful. 2 tests and 1 presentation - very easy marker. This class is a cake walk eeeasy!! Textbook is pretty interesting. Students end up teaching most of the classes via presentation.

There were 4 quizzes, and essay and participation marks. The class is so boring and goes by so slow. Don't learn much more than what is in the book-just read the book and thats all you have to do. Very approachable though, and will explain nething that u don't understand. bring something else to do

He's a great teacher! Awesome class I would definitely recommend him. He cares about his students and is very approachable and accomodating. Tests are multiple choice with some short answer questions. His lectures are interesting and he makes the 3hrs go by fast. If I could I would take him again.

Very nice teacher, very easy marker and he's very clear in what he looks for when he marks a test or a paper. He likes to talk a lot though.. so people with short attention spans don't take him as a teacher.

dankwort is the best teacher ive had. Hes very easy. There are 6 quizzes thruout the course 40 multiple choice..way to easy!!..one term paper due at the end for final...totally nice and cool teacher very talkative and goes over eerything u read inthe book
