His lab reports really weren't that bad, but his lab exam is really hard. Make sure you read through the lab manual! He can be kind of intimidating, but when I went for extra help he was really helpful and explained it very clearly. So don't be afraid to go to his office hours!

I am very grateful to have been taught by such a helpful man who knows his stuff. His exams are pretty tough but you will be fine. He tells you what to study! So just study it! Very approachable and willing to explain without making you feel stupid unless you catch him on a bad day. but we all have bad days so dont hate! His accents not that bad.

Despite having difficult lab reports and exams, Danny is a great instructor. He challenges you in order to make you a better student. If you're having trouble with any part of the report, he'll gladly help you. Just make sure that you pay attention to his pre-labs, because he often gives answers for the reports while he is talking.

The lab is not easy. Difficult calculations and tough lab reports. However, Danny is very helpful if you go to him for extra help. If you are actually trying and he sees that, he will put in the effort to help you. The lab final is hard but not impossible. Put in the study time and your mark will reflect it.

He has a funny accent but never a problem. He makes the lab fun usually and is great in helping students outside of class. His marking ranges from easy to insane. It is extremely sporadic. Altogether, he is not tough, the lab final was fairly easy.

Danny is a good lab prof. He wants his students to do well(took out the formal report because he knew we were all busy and didn't want to bring down our marks!) Never heard him yell once. Ask him for help or clarification if you need it! Can't be sloppy in your techniques or your data will be off, and you'll lose marks..not his fault though!

Dr. Ng is a terrible lab instructor. If you go to him for help, he will either not help you at all, or he will give you the wrong answer. He raises his voice so everyone in the lab can hear him yell at you when you ask a question. He makes the lab final harder and harder as the week progress, so by the time you hit Friday, you're screwed.

Danny meant well, but his teaching skills are not very good and neither is his communication. I never blame others when I don't do good in a class unless it's justified. I think that almost everyone here is trying to blame their own inability to get a good mark, on Danny. And I personally think that is VERY unfair. Your mark is YOUR mark. I agree that there is some parts that are unclear in his directions, but you can ALWAYS go and clarify. He is there early morning to LATE afternoon. GO ASK FOR HELP IF YOU NEED IT

Man, this guy is a bad lab prof. I'm a Chem major and by far these labs took the longest to do (there till 6:20pm once). If you want something from him, be direct and demand it because he only understands the langauge of rude (which is the only language that guy can speak, english is not his specialty)

Had him for both 220 & 320. Unapproachable, favors some students & has been known to raise his voice. Makes the whole biochem experience unpleasant.
