Comment:
Ursery is a truly caring and knowledgable professor. In Urserys class, if you read (it isn't much), & just take what he says for what it is, you are golden. Don't think too much about the concepts morally, just take it verbatim and apply it to the quizzes/tests. I got an A, & I barely read the required book. Listen and take good notes in lecture.

Professor Ursery knows his stuff and loves when students ask questions, SO ASK QUESTIONS! I cannot stress this enough. He is actually pretty funny, cares about his students, and is definitely underrated here. The textbook is a little dense but make sure to read and use the study guides he gives.

Danney Ursery is a real work of art. He's a sweet old man that cares about his students and is the cutest person ever. He is funny and kind but also a hard grader when it comes to papers. The class is all lectures that follow up on the reading. For this class you need to read because the quizzes are what can bring your grade down. Miss his class.

Only has two exams: midterm and final. Even if you're quiz grades are A+, passing may be difficult with a bad exam grade. Keeping up with the readings is vital and being able to understand them is the make it/break it for this class. He is very passionate about ethics in a monotone way. Don't recommend this professor to the average college student.

2nd class with this prof. Awful. Online classes so disorganized - you have to jump around several different places to find things. Workload is ridiculous. Exams are ridiculous - he pulls a random quote from 200 pages of 5 different authors and uses it in multiple choice: "Who wrote 'red is the best color?'" Essay prompts are ambiguous. Hard grader.

Prof minimally involved. Seems like he's making it overly complicated to prove that online courses are legit. The syllabus, rubric, and instructions are all posted on a WordPress site he created, and are a mess. Again, trying to prove something, but I'm unsure what. This is for adult learning, and I feel like he's treating the students like 18 Y.O.

DO NOT TAKE a class with this professor. This guy is a full on communist attempting to teach a business ethics class. His class is also a mess and he rarely teaches anything online. This is the most pathetic excuse for an intellectual I've come across at a college.

Prof Ursery was always available when I needed to talk to him. He is very approachable and I loved his class. This course was discussion based & he welcomes all points of view. Everyone knows if you read your material based on your contribution to the class discussion. He also welcomes any feedback for improvement. I would take him again!

I took two classes with Danney -- one online and one in class. The online class was brutal, because of the posting requirements and because he doesn't really get involved in the discussions. In person, his lectures are informative and pertinent to the readings. I would recommend a class with him, but not an online class.

Online class with poor instructor involvement. Relies heavily on students to guide online discussions. TONS of reading. Papers are graded very hard.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROF! Heavy reading load, poor communication level of expectations. Average of final research paper for my section - 72% of 14 students (online).
