Otto was the best prof I have EVER had. He was well organized and hilarious and really knew what he was talking about. It was a lot of work, but he really wanted you to do well and would do all he could to help you if you were willing to work. I'm so sad he's gone.

Otto was my TA in the late 90s; I believe I passed on all of the tutorials. I do know, however, that he was closely mentored by the strict logician Hitchcock, himself a logic instructor at Mac. This suggests that Otto is adept at quickly identifying fallacious arguments and indolent students.

Great Prof, organized, and very helpful. Keeps you awake in class with his fancy slides and groupwork, and loves to walk around. If you ever have to take the nastiness that is Logic, take it with Darcy, he knows his stuff, and loves it too.
