Always has a funny comment to make me laugh. ("I'm sexy and I know it!") Takes a genuine interest in his students. Sometimes gets off on a tangent, but he always brings it back home. Doesn't take himself too seriously, like some of the professors here do; very relaxed and easygoing.

I like Darryl, he's really caring and he understands. I had a parent who passed away a few months ago and he's really the only professor who actually listened to me and actually cared. Anytime he noticed me struggling he would tell to go and take a walk and that I could come back whenever I felt like I was ready. He's very funny too!
