Das is a great and engaging professor. He really cares about his students inside and outside of the classroom. He makes Ochem seem easy and occasionally fun. His exams were still challenging. Be sure you read the textbook and do book problems; they'll likely show up on the exam.

Das is the man! I hated and didn't understand chemistry in high school but he helped me understand this time around. He is great at explaining things and goes at a good pace. He is by far the best intro chemistry teacher.

Das is the first professor at Colby that made me proud to be at Colby. Das absolutely lives up to the reputation of Colby and more. He's friendly and always down to help out of class. i took organic chem with das when he was at oberlin in '97. he was a BRILLIANT teacher, and he restored my enthusiasm for chemistry. it was most likely thanks to him that i made it through the MCAT 7 years later. i can't express how much i owe this man. he's the best chem professor you'll find.
