He is an alright teacher. He doesn't have the best communication skills #ironic. He has a sort of rubric for speeches, but it's not very detailed. Only 3 tests and 3 speeches and that's all the grades for the semester. His tests are all short answer no matching or multiple choice, but he curves grades so any thing 85%< is an A Depends what you like

Dr. Anderson is incredibly boring and does not make his expectations clear. He does not use a rubric for his speeches, so it is literally just up to him what grade he wants to give you, which is really unfair especially since he is so picky when he grades. Gives exams which are completely short answer so again your grade is based on his opinion.

Really is a nice guy. He offers a TON of hypothetical scenarios, which students tend to think are his real views. Pretty easy teacher and grader. Class can seem like a waste, but it's fairly easy.

I've had multiple journalism classes with Dave over the years. He's a great person and very approachable. His classes sometimes get off topic and seem to be senseless. It's hard to focus at times because some of his lectures are like beating a dead horse. Man loves his politics. His exams are simple and mostly opinionated. Recommended for all.

enjoyed him as a teacher. as a counselor though, anytime i had serious questions it was treated as a joke. tries to get students into his office and out asap. before you graduate, double check with another counselor to make sure you have enough credits. cuz this guy can mess you up!

In feature writing, you can turn in your stories a week or so late if you need more time. No tests or final exam. Just 4 or 5 feature stories. Class can go by slow at times. You can probably get by without buying a textbook. Dave is easy going and helpful. Cares about his students.

Dave's a really good guy.tests are difficult but nothing he doesn't cover in class or handouts so hang to those babies!always available for help when you can find him somewhere on campus.always looks happy and reminds me of santa in his early years
