Armstrong knows his stuff and is willing to help but you need to be willing to help yourself. Don't expect it to just come to you, the medic program is very hard! He really likes the female students.

OF COURSE BEING A PARAMEDIC ISN'T EASY, BUT WE'RE NOT GOING TO BE CARDIOLOGISTS, SO DONT TEACH IT LIKE WE'RE GOING TO BE. IF YOU MUST TAKE THIS CLASS, I RECOMMEND BUYING "DUBINS RAPID INTERP. OF EKG'S". THE BOOK TEACHES CARDIOLOGY THE WAY IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOUGHT THE ENITRE SEMESTER.

This is a hard program to begin with. And Dave needs to be a hard professor. If he wasn't, then I wouldn't have passed National Registry. If you want to pass, you need to put the work into it. I think dave is a great teacher. he is hard but fair. He does care about the students who are willing to learn. All of these other bums are just too lazy to get off their dead buts and ask for help. Dave SHOULD NOT BE FIRED. dave knows the materials. He does not tolerate slackers, which are probably the people writing these stupid complaints

Dave is a not as hard as everyone seems I have had both EMS programs with him starting from scratch. You think your classes were hard you are all nuts. Dave knows his stuff and did you actually stop and ask Dave for help? If you asked he would help you out trust me I know.I had to do that many times especially in Medic.YOU R ALL ADULTS ACT LIKE IT

This professor has been a problem for several years yet no one seems to want to stop the lack of skills or willingness to get the job done. He lacks the preparation by sheer laziness. Anyone who passes this course passes only by self study, and in turn are ill prepared for the national registry. There is no reason for this.DAVE U NEED TO BE FIRED

He may be a good teacher if he actually cared about his students, he's unwilling to make sure that the student is equipped with the knowledge they need to pass, you end up teaching yourself in the end if you want to pass his course. Then he gets to take the credit and the money and say he actually made a difference.

This man has no business as an instructor. His Idea of interactive learning is to play cut and paste games. That was great in 1st grade, not in college. In a class intended to teach dealing with other people's lives,Dave could not have been a bigger liability. He is dangerous if allowed to continue teaching could mean the difference for your family

This person has lost all respect from me. He has demonstrated a severe lack of organization, as well as a "greater than thou" attitude. It has taken him 12 weeks to present us with information needed in week 2. If anyone else is interested in this program, avoid him at all costs.

I'm really pissed at this guy because we paid for a computer lab that was supposed to have started 6 weeks ago. We have still not received the diskettes which have the course work from Armstrong. He appears to be unorganized and can be difficult to apporach depending on his mood. You're stuck with him though if you take this program.
