I took his class online and his lecture videos are awful and don't make sense and his tests are not what you expect. He took a month to respond to an important email.

Homework is Webwork worth 40% and 2 prelims worth 30% each. The textbook is 4 chapters written by another UMaine professor. His lectures is basically him copying the textbook word for word onto the board and seems uninterested in being there. Doesn't offer much help. Tests are mostly conceptual, expect between a 40-70. Grade scale is F45

I only took this course with D.B. because it was the only option, avoid this guy at all costs. He does not care if his students understand the material or not, he is simply there for the paycheck. Hands down the worst professor i have ever had. I hope you have good resources if you plan on taking his class, attending lecture is no help at all.

Simply horrible. I took Dr. David Clark for Physics 122 and 123 (see his reviews), and Dr. Clark is far better. It's harsh but Bradley isn't worth the dirt on my shoes, and he doesn't seem to care for his students. Even after asking for help he seemed dismissive and arrogant. In my opinion, it is in your best interest to avoid his courses.

Worst professor I've ever had. Two weeks into the class he changed the syllabus from 60% Webwork and 40% final as posted on the course website to 40% Webwork, 30% midterm, and 30% final. One week before midterm he sent an email saying the only thing allowed on the exam was a pencil and would not have anything to do with the Webwork. Awful! Awful!

Professor Bradley has prepared a great set of course notes, with many more worked-out examples than most text books. The examples cover the whole range of course material, and saved me from buying and hefting around another over-priced 1200 page text. He responds to email generally within 24 hours or less. Often even late nights and weekends.

HORRIBLE! Lectures are useless. He does no examples, basically just reads the book and writes it on the board. Homework is hard and on Webwork. Has nothing to do with what he teaches in lecture. Most monotone and uninteresting guy I've ever heard speak. Really really shotty teacher.

Worst professor ever. I do not think I learned much from this class as a result of how badly this teacher taught. He uses hard problems that do not relate to the final nor the homework in the lectures. I was under the impression that the homework encompassed the class but yet he told me I needed to know the material not in the hw, for the final.

Never sign up to take a class with this instructor! He does not care at all about his students. This instructor uses no book, only videos. Uses complicated examples that are mostly irrelevant to homework. If you have a question you have to email him 6 or 7 times only to get "hints" and no help. FINAL IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM PROBLEMS IN CLASS.

I'm a parent of a student in the online course. Let's just say that if I could file a "rip-off report" about the way this course is run, I would do it. Disgraceful.

I am taking his class online, the video lectures show examples but do not thoroughly explain the methods he is using to solve the problems. There is homework assigned on "WeBWorK"(40% of grade) but it does not correspond with the lectures which is very frustrating. Overall I would rate this class below math classes I have taken from other schools.

I took this online class hoping that it would be structured with stuff due throughout the semester. WRONG. Day 1 email says "here's all your homework, it's all due in April". Needless to say it's really easy to Google all of the answers. Never even seen the professor. Didn't buy the book. Pretty sure I got < 10% on the final. A 70 is a C+, easy.

Uses crazy examples in class then tests on different things. Goes as fast as he can without real concern for the students. Grade highly depends on midterm and final. Very unprepared. If he does quizzes he makes them up on the spot and does not give partial credit. If you already know the subject completley the you might do good. Cannot teach!

High energy, well-prepared with relevant, interesting examples beyond the book. Bradley helps you understand the nuts and bolts, the why, not just the how. He's also made available a terrific collection of extra problems and examples to help you prepare for tests.

Not very effective. Teaches with examples but then tests on the concepts. Often disorganized and not prompt with feedback. Most of the grade is based on the midterm and final. Does scale grades somewhat; a 65 for the course is a C (though this may just show how poorly people do). Pick anyone else and save yourself the extra semester.
