He is an amazing teacher and really cares about his students, is extremely knowledgeable about about the subject yet is very down to earth. Im so glad i got to be one of his students and his philosophy of religion class changed my life . His tests are very easy if you understand the theories and if you don't he is very good at explaining.

I had this professor my final year at Roberts and I wish I had him my freshman year. The best professor by far. Never forces you for an opinion and he never tells you about his opinion either. Makes you confortable in what you stand for.

I loved his teaching style, and his personality. His "celebrations of learning" aka tests really aren't bad. I was always surprised at how much I learned without even trying... he's just that good. I bet he'll be a lifetime friend too. :)

Took many classes with Basinger; he was the reason I minored in Philosophy. The way he teaches demonstrates how to reason effectively and think out issues. I appreciate what I learned in those classes!

I took him for multiple phil. classes. Loved him. If you follow his outline way of giving notes, you will know everything on the test. I have been out of Roberts for about 6 years, and he is still available for converstaions. Great prof.

I loved going to his ethics class. I loved how he posed a dilemma and had you come up with an ethical solution and then told you what did happen and the consequences. Really made you think adn he is very helpful and sees students as humans!
