Dr Breen is fiercely passionate about history! He is a highly intelligent individual, sometimes to the point where his intelligence is intimidating. He has good intentions, however he seems to have unrealistic expectations in terms of a student's capacity/ability when it comes to research papers or writing exams. Great individual, difficult course.

Dr. Breen was a very pleasant professor, with a deep knowledge in his subject matter and an obvious passion for Canadian History. The class could be a little slow at times, but was still pretty interesting. He was always extremely helpful with papers and any questions we might have had.
