Dr. Brunner's the best! Choir was so fun. You can tell he really cares about the music and wants the students to really do their best. He also does lots of inspirational speeches. Singing in this group is usually the greatest stress relief.

Dr. Brunner is the absolute best!!! He is so funny and always happy unless you go completely against his few and understandable policies. Such a smart guy and master composer! We have sung at least 1 (if not more) of his compositions every semester and they are always my favorite pieces.

A very overqualified teacher given his stature and significance in the world of choral composition, UCF is very lucky to have him. Very specific as to what he wants, a great communicator, and while he is tough on the class at times, we're always better for it and he does it only in our interest to meet our potential. If you like chorus, take him.

The music is a little challenging, but should be...it's University Choir. It is an awesome class, but Dr. Brunner is not going to hold your hand, you are in college and expected to be prepared. He will challenge you to live up to your potential. I enjoyed the class, and perhaps those who liked high school choir better miss getting their hand held.

Very very interesting man. Genuine and open. Extremely nice and always smiling. I'm not a music major but he still welcomed me w/open arms and patience. thumbs up for this guy. oh, if youre a violent person, dont go near him. he loves peace. .... and so do i.

Haha, some of you need to deal with it! It's an ENSEMBLE which requires your DEDICATION! I can't imagine why you didn't know about concert dates BEFORE you signed up for the class, as it was posted on his door before auditions.

Easy A but hard music considering the easy audition - hence a 2 for difficulty. Pretty helpful guy, but his conducting is a little loose sometimes. But that's chorus conducting vs. band conducting. Sometimes confusing when he says what he wants in terms of singing. How does one "shimmer?"

This was my first and last semester in his class!!! It sucks. You don't really work hard until the week of the concert and then he yells at you because he didn't prepare you enough. He always lets bad notes go and is unprepared for class. High school choir was better.

He is amazingly dedicated and artistic. He really knows what he is doing and cares about his fellow musicians. If you aren't dedicated to music and singing, don't do it-this isn't high school choir. If you give your all, he'll give double.

have studied with and toured Europe with this teacher/composer...also sang at Carnegie Hall under his direction. He is amazingly talented, and I have learned a great deal from him. I have never seen him be less than helpful to anyone.
