He is a very caring prof and will go out of his way to make sure you pass as long as he sees some kind of effort. Very personable and easy midterms. We had one assignment for the entire semester that offered easy marks. Great prof.

Dr Duke was an amazing prof to have. I enjoyed every lecture I had with him, he makes the information easy to understand and he will entertain you along the way. He is highly knowledgeable in his field. The final group project was an amazing experience and I am very glad to have been a part of it. I would absolutely take any class that he teaches!!

Absolutely loved this class. Dr. Duke was extremely knowledgable on the subjects and also very interested in them. Only 8:30 class I'll willingly wake up for, will miss it next semester. Take his environmental history class!

Easy to listen to and follow. Lectures are interesting and not too heavy. He does expect you to have the chapter read before class and will randomly call on students for answers. He cares a lot about how his students are doing and I found him to be quite funny.

David Duke is one of those guys who feels as if he's above just about every person he runs into. Best word I can think of to describe him would be "pompous". He doesn't care to know many of the students either, and will fail you without hesitation. If you are a history major it may be a different story, he seems to connect with them and them only.

Dr. Duke is one of the best profs I've had. You can tell just how much he loves teaching. He wants you to think and come to your own conclusions, not just recite back answers. His lectures are fun and super interesting and his grading criteria is super clear. He'll give you all the resources he can to help you succeed.

FAV PROF EVER. I'm a business major but if I could major in Duke I would. He's an amazing lecturer, super intelligent and brings genuine opinions to the classroom. FAVORITE PROF. Duke makes each student feel special & he truly cares about your success. So passionate & could make anything interesting. He's hilarious & very approachable. Just an all around amazing person (with a great accent too!). Take a class with him, you won't regret it. When I graduate, I'm going to miss him more than I care to admit.

Dr. Duke is one of the best professors I've ever had. I wasn't interested in the course before I took it, but he made me excited about going to class. He's a brilliant and FUNNY man who makes lectures a pleasure to listen to. If you work hard, he gets excited about your work, and cares about you as a person. And his English accent is gorgeous.

Dr. Duke is extremely intelligent, very fair, honest about his opinions, and reflects fairly on yours. Hands down the most engaging and interesting professor at Acadia.
