Presented the class with material that benefited. No use of text books at all -- could have saved the money. Gave constructive criticism, and only expected the best -- as it should be in a creative writing class. I would take another class with him. As for him being pompous and stuck on himself -- absolutely. Welcome to academia.

If this is David Gavin from Urban, than he is one of the worst teachers I have ever encountered. He is rude, contradicts what he says, he generalizes people, he acts as if he knows "everything" and cant accept when you prove him wrong. David is rude to other students and is inappropriate on top of it all
