I didn't understand why I had to learn pedagogy from someone who is not successful as a teacher himself. That being said, this class had nothing to learn from as I expected. It is really a waste of time and credits/money to take his class which we must take. Are easy As more important than learning priceless materials from profs with high standard?

I had to take a lesson with him because of my professor's absence, and I wish I didn't. He told me to take all the articulation literally. I was like "really? you want me to bang the keyboard just because it's forte?". I feel bad for his studio students because his uselessness is reflected to their performance. He cannot play the piano well.

I can't believe someone could possibly rate him with 5. He has no idea what he is talking about. This was a repertoire class and I learned NOTHING except how to steal music from Naxos. The textbook is a piece of sxxt and he knows that, but he doesn't change it. He teaches false info about pieces and composers. Should be fired.

Excellent. Will make you play the piano like you've never played before. Will take out the musician in you and make you stand out.
