Comment:

He goes over a lot of content in his lectures, so the amount to learn adds up fast. But his exams are just basic recall questions, so getting a good grade isn't hard. He lectures well and everything you need to know is in the slides. A problem was he would frequently put up large tables and say we have to know them but never asked on the exams.

Hoskin projected his voice well and provided excellent notes. All information was in the notes, so one could simply listen instead of writing everything he said down on paper. Tests were fair, but the TA's mark them, so marks are at their discretion.

Hoskin, while being a little boring at times, provides well organized class notes to follow during lectures and presents his material nicely. He uses the figures directly from the textbook during lecture which is nice, and guides the class through the material effectively. Tests were straightforward, lots of material but no tricks. Great professor.

Hoskin was an enjoyable professor,presenting a lot of material,in a clear manner, which came from the fore front of the field.As written below "excellent lecturer" is a little misleading.Hoskin voice is projected rather a melodically, and he speaks with his hands in the pockets of his jean pants.Thus he doesnt attract much attention to himself.
