I had a final exam with a cheat sheet of up to 6 pages long for the section of the class he taught. I used 2 pages to copy down everything he taught us in class and I didn't have any idea how to do about 80% of the Final Exam. He teaches at a snail's pace, I remember two classes where we did one question each, then had 30 questions for homework.

Dave is the kind of teacher that teaches people who want to learn. If you ask for his help he give you the time. That said his class is based on YOU doing the work. Just show up every class, complete the homework (Hint: Homework or test? "Math is Math")and stay awake. Coffee, a pencil and your book is pure win.
