It's really unfortunate that he's the only prof who teaches this class. He definitely knows his stuff but isn't very good at explaining his answers to the trickier questions. He stands there for 75 mins staring at his screen reading lecture slides... horribly boring.

His class was at 10:30am, very boring, and he doesn't put his notes online before class. Its almost impossible to stay awake. I stopped going after midterm break and started watching the lecture capture videos online. The exams are easy if you write down what he says and memorize it. Also, he kind of looks like Dobby from Harry Potter.

Probably the most boring prof I've ever had. He's so dull and he seems like he doesn't even want to be teaching the class. Labs are easy. Great class if you need to catch up on some sleep.

Class is quite dull. Notes are clear, though, and he repeats half of the previous lecture every class, just to go over it again. Take the online quizzes for practice. No real need to buy the textbook.

Extremely boring, shows no interest in the subject. Very bad course overall. midterm average was 60%. Evolution shouldn't be a core course. should be an elective because in my opinion there are many much more interesting bio courses than this one. again extremly boring course!

This was the most unenthusiastic, boring, and, unstimulating prof I have had (3 yrs.). He totally ruins the subject matter by talking in a monotone voice. His lecture is a great chance to catch up on your sleep!

This guy has a punctuation problem!!!! He teaches using single words and not sentences meaning he pauses after every word!! HE CAN'T TEACH! Im sorry but he was probably the most boring prof i have had to date (3years). Him and Carr really made genetics interesting. Yeah Right! NOT RECCOMENDED!

Tests are not as hard as these people are saying. Nice guy and fairly enthusiastic.
