Great prof, loves his job. I feel as though if you have an interest in politics anyways this class will be a breezy, if not start brushing up. He wants you not only to understand concepts but to be able to discuss them inteelegently. Read the assigned chapters and know how to relate them to real events.

David is by far on the best professors that CBU has to offer. He goes over and beyond what is required of a professor. He enjoys what he does and is evident through he lectures. Great person to sit down and chat with and is more then willing to help a student out with papers and testing. I would recommend you take any of David's classes!

Smart proff, teaches with a very minimal bias. It can be very hard to know how he feels about something, great way to team pol sci. He breaks things down well, makes it easy to understand. If you are not intrested in pol sci, prob dont take him. He expects a lot and expect you to know whats going on in the world and to know your history.

Fantastic prof. I was only taking his course because I needed the credits.I have no interest in political science and had not a clue in his class & still did well. I didn't read the book because i couldn't make heads or tales out of it & still did well. Write down what he does on the board and your good to go for mid term $ exam. Def recommended.

he's a nice man. Will meet with you during office hours to discuss papers, which I highly recommend doing as he gives lots of helpful tips and advice. His midterm was relatively easy but the final was pretty brutal. He's a pretty fair guy but does expect a lot from students. Overall a really good class, I enjoyed it a lot!

I don't remember how many courses I took with him, he's a great prof. He's NOT that hard or a marker, here's a tip for people: USE EXAMPLES, and FOOTNOTES do that and you'll get in the 80's. A GREAT prof, will do ANYTHING for his students.

he really gets into what he's teaching...can take the most boring subject and make it interesting. As long as you show up to class and take notes, you'll be fine. His papers though are long and boring, make sure you start them early.
