Dr. Kasserman is so random and funny! ECON was a very large class, and the material was confusing. Make sure to take advantage of the help sessions; he is much more clear one on one. He curves A LOT at the end of the semester! Make sure to study old test - he reuses the questions! I had a C before the final and ended up with an A!

he's funny, which is nice, but he spends the whole class telling stories and then you get the test and dont know anything. and he kind of expects you to go to review sessions ... almost everybody failed one test and he was like, well y'all should have come to the review session ... but he should have taught us the material in class ...

He is very funny and wants to help out his students. If you dont understand whats going on in class go to the study sessions they help alot. Also dont ever miss class because if you miss to many pop quizes it can really bring your grade down. Print out the notes and learn the graphs and you will do fine.

Dr.Kaserman is very helpful! He has a great sense of humor but he is not very good at teaching the material. He tries his best to relate the material to something you know but micro isn't that easy of a subject. It is a tough class. Make sure you go to class and pay attention. You will be fine, i made an A!!

Silly fools, Kaserman is a great teacher. He has a great sense of humor that helps class go by quickly. He is very willing to explain any material as in depth as needed. Pop quizzes are kinda hard sometimes. The case is not that hard, and it's much more fun than a term paper. Take him for GBS.

I agree that Dr. Kaserman is very funny and tries his best to make class interesting HOWEVER he is NOT easy. I have NEVER made below a B in anything and I got a D in his class. He gives you old tests but only about 4 or 5 questions come from old tests, the rest are completely unpredictable and not in the notes. I recommend taking another teacher.

Great teacher. Explains the material very well and pulls in lots of examples. Graphs are huge in this class, make sure you understand them. He is very helpful and answers all your questions. Tests are mc and fairly short. Take him if you can. Easy and not boring at all.

This class could not have been easier. Go to class every day and you shouldn't even need to read the book. Test are ten or so simple multiple choice on the overall concepts, not on the specifics. Plus, Kaserman is one of the funniest professors I've had in 3.5 years. TAKE THIS CLASS.

Kaserman sucks....bad. He is too old and doesn't teach well. The only good thing about the class is he cant use computers, so when it messes up class gets canceled. Plus he has the whole man **** thing going on. Awful class.

Nice guy, tells lots of jokes and stories, so that makes class kind of interesting, but the tests are pretty hard. The old tests helped, but they don't guarantee you an A. Gooing to class makes the material easier. He gave a couple of attendance quizzes, so an automatic 100 on it if you're there.

Comment:

Dr. Kaserman is hilarious and fabulous! He knows his stuff too. Antitrust and Regulation are his forte. This class has been the best and most interesting class I have taken so far at Auburn. Kaserman is such a wonderful person and intelligent teacher. I wish he taught more upper level classes.
