Really fascinating person, hilarious, deep, invested in his students, seems to be genuinely interested in what people have to say (vs. profs who just like to hear themselves talk), crystallizes murky topics, has had wild experiences (ask him about his travels in Asia). Manages to make a 3-hour long class enjoyable and mind-expanding!
