The most genuine professor I have ever been taught by. Extremely intelligent guy, cares about students and learning rather than simply forcing content down your throat. Very up front with his views and facilitates good discussion. Fair grader. Must take a class with him before you graduate.

McNally is the best prof on campus, he speakers clearly and loudly when lecturing you won't want to miss it cause its very entertaining, always very clear with instructions. He needs you to buy a text book but its not too expensive and he also gives you his readings online on his website. Best of all NO EXAMS!!! you won't regret taking his class.

Professor McNally was by far the great professor I have had at York, and probably I ever will have anywhere. His material is very challenging, but he is always there to help you understand, and in general, is extremely understanding of all situations. I recommend you do not miss take a class with him while you're at York.

He is one brilliant professor. Everyone should experience university with at least one course with him. He definitely changed my perspectives about so many things in life, not just politically. He's incredibly passionate, and makes sense in every word that comes out of his mouth. Anyone who haven't had him as a prof missed a lifetime and a half.

Amazing professor. Passionate, articulate, insightful. Extremely effective facilitator of discussion; respectful and open. Brilliant analysis of Marx's Capital, and an extremely effective introduction to a seminal thinker. Made Marx accessible to me, which is an incredible gift. Inspired me to learn more. what more can you ask for?
