Comment:

Prof. Mullan is easily one of the best professors I've had at CBU. He encourages his students to think outside of the box about issues some profs might shy away from in discussion. He's very intelligent, approachable, and interested in the opinions of his students. As far as grades go, I found him to be very fair. I highly recommend him.

All over the place. Full of himself. Seems to love the fact that he did something controversial. (He doesn't talk about it in class, no. But he does allude to it, and seems quite proud. Just look at his infamous blog.) The lectures are long and meandering. The material is dry. The readings are even longer, more meandering, and even drier still.

Great teacher. Do the readings, they may take time but come exam time you'll be glad you did. Plus it will give you something to talk about in his class. HE may be a hard marker but in the end he makes a better student out of you and makes you want to work harder to improve yourself. Great teacher, take his class!

Prof Mullan is a great prof, and truly knows his stuff. He is very helpfull when it comes to papers as well as if you missed class. He is very opinonated, is he is any less of a prof?. I have been hearing all sorts of peoplesaying that he's a bad prof over recent events even from those who have never had him! Which makes there view very reliable.

He is a nice,easy going man and willing to help with papers.However,he gets side tracked in class easily, notes are radom and not cohesive or continual,you will wonder what is expected from you because it is never made clear what is important.Favorite phrase"You don't need to know but..."Read the books for organization that is lacking in his class.

I can see why some might have a problem with David. He can seem to be a little high on his own horse but that could not be farther from the truth. He is very knowledgeable and he does expect you to know the basics. It is not his fault if you did not receive the proper education in high school. Stop whining and do some work you might learn something

Worst Prof ever,full of himself. I would not recommend his class he is confusing and doesn't stop talking about himself and things he has done. Jumps all over the place with material and gives those readings thta have nothing to do with the lecture material most days. Not a very good prof to take in first year. Take Rose Tekel or someone else.

I see alot of Prof. Mullan's remarks, and most of them are from his 101. These are first years who still dont know what to do in University. I myslef in the thrid year can understand what is expected of me. First years are used to Highschool and really dont know how to do work yet. He is a little weird but a great Prof.

the worst teacher i have ever had, assumes students already know everything the class is supposed to teach, you'll hear the comment "but everyone knows that" quite often in his class, i would never take another class from this teacher, wasted entire course speaking about himself and his dog, dont expect more than a 65 in this class.
