You take A LOT of notes but everything on the essay exams comes straight from them. Its more about knowing the concepts and little details. But I usually took 3-5 pages of notes every class so exam time wasnt bad at all. Just write as much as you can

He is a good professor, but talks a lot and very fast. He makes sure everything is very clear and tests and homework are pretty easy, but not too simple. VERY nice man and very passionate about his subject. I recommend him, but NOT for a 6p-9p class....Its just too much for one night.

He is such an awesome teacher and makes history fun to learn and not so boring. He gives a good review before midterm/final. No quizes, occasional worksheets, very EASY. Just go to class and take notes!

Very willing to help you understand which is important in a histoy prof. classes are all lecture and somewhat boring. Study the notes for the midterms and final. He knows what he is talking about and can make history easier to understand. Does not make you memorize dates, just themes and concepts

He definitely likes to talk a lot, but his class is pretty easy. Go to class and take notes and you will be fine. There is weekly homework but it is simple if you do the reading. There are only two tests- the midterm and the final, so make sure you go to class for your participation points!

I think that he is a great guy. I found that the class was pretty easy. At times he does get a little off track and at times rambles on. However, I highly reccomend his class because I had a lot of fun and he is a fun teacher.

Definitely is passionate about history. I am not a huge history buff, so I guess I don't really like the class as much as others, but he does a nice job teaching it. Lectures, notes, and readings are pretty much all to look forward to day in and out.
