Comment:

Most intelligent person I've ever met. He is the best lecturer I've ever had, too. Does not use any powerpoints or visuals in class. He just stands there and talks, but you will be on the edge of your seat. Reeve is a fantastic professor but beware of higher level classes, as they are not for beginners in phil and are much more rigorous / hard.

PLEASE do NOT take an Ancient Philosophy class with this man! If you are into philosophy, you will be tortured by seeing his surface-level, totally wrongheaded misunderstanding of the ancients. If you are new to philosophy, he may very well turn you off the whole subject. Reeve has NO INTEREST in deep discussion or understanding of the text!!

Comment:

I thought that ancient would be boring, but he made it interesting. Great lecturer, not as good one on one. The tests were fairly easy, but 3/4 of class went into final paper with an A and he graded them to get his bell curve so few ended with an A. final thought: good lecturer grades for curve.
