Professor Robinson is a really nice guy and he is more than willing to help whenever you need. Despite this, his class is so hard. Majority of this class is driven by students' homework questions (hw is never turned in) in which doesn't prepare you for his tests. He doesn't give study guides or allow notes so you are pretty much on your own.

Mr. Robinson is ok. He tends to speak at the whiteboard so I suggest sitting up front. He mixed up numbers pretty frequently. Homework isn't ever turned in so you should be motivated to do it on your own. Most classes were spent going over previous nights homework problems and then getting into the lecture. I wasn't impressed with his teaching.

This is a hard class because the grade is based mostly on exams, and he doesn't hand out study guides before the tests. He assigns homework everyday but they're not due in class, so you have to motivate yourself to study the material. However, he is a nice guy and is always there to help.

Professor Robinson's lectures are intense so please come to class as much as possible. To succeed in his class you have to be self-motivated. New homework assignments everyday but you don't have to turn in. READ the textbook or go to his office for help if you are confused . Tests are sometimes hard so you really have to study hard.

Sitting in the front is definitely a must, he's an easy going guy, kind of reminds you of your grandfather. If you don't come to class or pay attention it's definitely easy to get lost in the work, he does make many mistakes when writing on the board , more like mixing up numbers, but it definitely keeps you on your toes! I highly recommend.

I took his math251 and math253 courses. He's the best teacher that I have ever had. Because English is my second language, sometimes I can't understand what he said. He would like to help me after class even though it's over his office hour. He is patient, nice and really helpful. I'm glad that I could have an amazing teacher for 2 semesters.

Even though i dropped Professor Robinson's class, it was only because of internal matter of my personal life, and got place higher on my re-placement test. When I got a bad grade, he urged me to come in during his office hours. When I spoke to him about dropping, he still provided me with support of what my options were and what I should do next.

He is a very gentle and folksy grandpa like figure. The math is easy in the very beginning, but it will get a lot harder as the semester goes on. I say he is an above average prof. but not the "super duper best". I took his class 2 years ago and I am friends with him. He also pilots hot air balloons and I will have a field trip soon!

Despite his monotonous voice, I believe this professor is really helpful. He really goes into detail with each concept so that students have a crystal clear understanding of how to understand calculus, which in my opinion is fundamental when you are just taking differential calc. I recommend him!

Robinson is really helpful. He's hard to hear sometimes, but if you sit up close you should be fine. He's always trying to make jokes.. you can't help but laugh. Going to class is really important. He alway explains everything in a way that you won't get from just reading the textbook.

The only reason why people cant hear him is cause they sit in the back, and if you really want to learn, you should sit closer. He is a good teacher and he knows what he's doing. He makes lame but funny jokes, and he drops your lowest test. hw is worth one 8 tests. helpful and understanding

He is a calm speaking teacher that can be difficult to hear but interesting. His tests can be really difficult since most of the questions are free write which means you have to really understand and memorize terms in the book. He will try to help you if you are having problems with the homework which he randomly grades.

He is a really nice guy. Only problem I had is that you can't sit on the left side of the room, you won't be able to see anything because he has a tendency to talk to the board. His voice is deep/soft so it's hard to pay attention sometimes. Drops lowest quiz and exam. Homework isn't collected, but you need to do it because he goes over hw in class.
