Dr. Rollock is an awesome professor. He knows what he's talking about and makes class super fun for all the students. The tests are definitely not easy but the material and the way he teaches make the tests more understandable. Highly recommended!

Really good lecturer and an interesting class. He's funny and creates an environment that really rewards class participation. I found myself answering questions and discussing even though I'm normally too shy. He's very respectful of the different disorders discussed. My only gripe is that he doesn't post lecture slides on Blackboard.

Dr. Rollock is one of Purdue's best professors. Lectures felt more like showing up for a movie. Simply took notes and paid attention in order to be successful on exams. Some leniency and extra credit provided as well!

Great professor. Very passionate about the subject and is very engaging. Class definitely never gets boring. Make sure you read the book. Exams are not easy, you probably will be stunned after you get your first exam grade back. Offers extra credit to bring your grade back up. Make sure you understand the material not just memorize.

BEST professor thus far at Purdue!! I had this class as a power hours at 4:30 (last class of the day) and I was STILL excited to come to class each day! Amazingly energetic and intelligent professor who always seems to make sense and encourages class discussion!

Professor Rollock is amazing! He definitely knows his stuff, like he has amazing knowledge about Abnormal Psychology. He is very helpul if you go to his office hours, it really helped me understand things. His exams are extremely hard, you will fail if you don't study. Read the book and make sure you understand more than just definitions.

Really charming guy, definitely makes class interesting. Attendance isn't mandatory but he doesn't post notes online so you'll miss a lot of concepts if you don't go. It's definitely a challenging course, but if you go to class and actually put effort into it, you'll do fine!

He is an awesome professor as far as interest and teaching goes. You actually want to go to class, however, the tests are hard and you really have to know the material because he tests on concepts, not memorized definitions,etc.

He is one of the best teachers I've ever had. I loved this class and actually enjoyed going to it. He is very helpful and makes the environment fun and is easy to talk to. He really enjoys teaching and his slides are wordy but good. The tests were pretty hard especially the final. The recitation assignments were pretty easy

This class was by far the one of the hardest and tedious...his lecture notes are so detailed and recitation has so much requirements: 5-7 page paper, presentation, recitation final, etc. Don't take this class unless you're willing to listen to every detail in lecture and read every chapter in the text.

His section had to do twice as much work as the other sections. He had his section take a recitation final, write a final paper, and give an individual presentation while the other sections didn't. Also his notes were not posted online while the other sections were. Get out of his class if possible.
