This guy is only worried about whether or not you study his way. If you don't follow his plan it doesn't matter if you know the material--you won't do well. He's deceptive. He makes you feel like he wants you to do well but he really wants you to drop everything to focus on his class. I would never take him again or recommend him.

At first, he was a really great teacher that said he would go out of the way for his students to help them out in anyway he could, however, he became overally agitated in the end and stopped being helpful, it was really disappointing and annoying. He had a poor attitude

Prof. Rosen, is a great teacher. I recommend you take him if . he gives you all the material to study, his notes and powerpoint are very organized and his test are very easy if you stay top of the material! he takes the questions directly out of the study guides so better study them!

Good class, interesting guy. He likes class discussion & is easy to get a hold of. Speak up if you dont get something he will change it if the rest of the class feels the same, also you can ask for extra credit. I never bought the book and got an A. He has lots of online notes and the study guides are the exact questions for the test. Take Rosen!

Took microbiology with this professor in Merritt College. He screwed us up very badly. He got fired after provoking the administration and being removed from the campus by two police officers. For a while he even refused to submit our grades to the school. This happen in the beginning/middle summer semester. Stay away from this guy. Beware.

Dr. Rosen is fantastic. He makes sure that you understand the material. He loves it when students get involved in discussion and asks questions. Lots of easy quizzes. Just review the notes before class and you can't go wrong. Engage in a lot of class participation and you'll do even better.

Dr. Rosen is one of the rare instructors who actually cares that his students understand the material he's teaching. He asks questions throughout his lectures, emphasizing for students to understand the big picture, stating 'everything else will fall into place.' He rocks!

Took Genetic Bio and Human Sexuality with Rosen - GREAT teacher. Didnt hate classes, and topics were all related to practical life. Study guides were relevant to tests. Always willing to discuss issues w/students. Offers extra credit.
