Stein is incredibly intelligent, there is no doubt, and yes, he is very high on himself. Doesn't take attendance but you need to go to EVERY class because he test from his notes and the book. He expects you to learn a lot of information but it can be very interesting. Not a push over class at all.

HUGE ego. He asks questions about himself on the test for humor. The tests contradict everything in his lectures. He asks for advice on how to get better test scores out of his students but doesnt like feedback. That man NEEDS to be fired, He doesnt care about his students.I went to every class and still failed bc everything contradicted the book.

terrible teacher. weird tests that are worded really badly and confusing. claims he would have been Elvis's psychologist had he not died. just a really bad teacher all around. never take him. no matter how smart you are you probably wont get a good grade in his class b/c your grade is based on 3 tests and his test questions dont make sense !!

This class was lots of fun and Dr. Stein knew his stuff. I loved going to it, we never knew if we were profiling cases, watching clips, or hearing guest speakers. I loved Psychology and the Law and Stein made it an enjoyable class.

I was really intersted in the subject but scared to take Stein because of his ratings. Those ratings are way off. He basically told us what would be on each exam. He also had silly easy questions on his tests. We even got to profile crimes for two exams, these were group efforts and were graded in class. It was so much fun. Great Prof.

He is very interesting and teaches from a rare point of view, if you can get past his ego. The tests are mad hard, i just spent 8 hours studying for this test, 75 questions and I bombed it! you can't be prepared enough for his tests.

Totally self centered, absolute JERK... I got mono the semester I had him, missed a test and he tried to keep me from making it up even though the dean of student affairs called and TOLD him I couldn't go to class. More interested in spreading HIS theories than teaching the curriculum.
