DTL was great! His lectures are not tested, so you're there to simply absorb the material. Students that don't come to class find it difficult, but I assure you that if you come to class and strike up a conversation with him, the class won't be as difficult. He gets away with not teaching half the semester, but the group project was fun.

Dave, was amazing!!!! He cares about you as a student and a person. Was always willing to meet outside of class and read papers prior to the due date. Your grade reflects the effort you put in. Attendance is not mandatory but make the A+ much easier and more likely. Would take all my classes with him if I could

Comment:

I took Motor Learning and Control with Telles-Langdon this fall, and it was such a great class. I would highly recommend it! (But only if you enjoy writing papers!) Easy A if you are good at formulating papers and have a strong sense for APA formatting. Some of the concepts can difficult to comprehend, but he is always willing to help, so ask!

thanks for another great class dave, Rubrics can be followed exactly to get a good mark on papers. Always willing to help. Loves what he is teaching and wants to pass on his knowledge to his students. great teacher, always look for classes he is teaching, have taken almost all of them :)

Worst prof I've had. He's lazy and not helpful. He clearly doesn't have a passion for teaching because he would always cut class short and wasn't there for the last class before the exam. There is no reason to even go to class cause he reads directly off the powerpoints and all the information is in the textbook.

He is a very slow when it comes to putting up grades and checking his email. Be prepared to wait three weeks for your mark after an assignment. His exams are too small and so even a couple mistakes can drastically decrease your mark. He spent no time explaining the paper in class and his online instructions were vague. He's a very nice person tho

Great Prof! Very approachable, maintains interest, very helpful and fair with marking and assignment distribution. One complaint is that his assignment expectations aren't always clear but if you ask him he will clarify! Overall great experience in Program Planning in Sport with Dave!

Great prof! Follow his assignment ruberics for a good mark. If you still don't get it GO SEE HIM. He's challenging but more than fair. Presents in a straighforward & easy to understand way. One of the best profs in Kin.

It's a pretty decent class. Exams are way too small, so be prepared to loose quite a bit of % for every little error you may make! Also, be sure you know EXACTLY what he wants in abstracts and paper ... marks very HARD! Best advice go see him! He keeps the class interesting but likes to keep info from those who do not attend so GO TO CLASS!

Great teacher has helped me believe that I can obtain all the goals that I have set for myself. My only criticism is that he will freely give constructive criticism to students who's oppinions are often near sighted or ill founded. I have enjoyed every class that I have taken with Dave, and he has helped me plan my future in coaching and education
