Angry lady, kinda scary. But class isn't too bad, just DON'T SHOW UP. Read text well, and only come to her if you need clarification. She marks kind of hard, but tries to be fair. If she thinks you deserve it, she could bump your grade up. Study well!

There is only one word to describe her...slack. If you put in the effort to understand it, you will do fine.

Just like everyone says, she teaches directly out of the text. It is not a good thing, because we never get any examples other then what is. After spending a ton of cash for the class, I shouldn't have to go see her on my own time to get more out of her.

Talks too fast to take notes, but it's all out of the text anyway. She also can't write anything legibly on the board, or erase it. Take math, it's easier to understand.

Teaches straight from the text and gives no insight of her own. Doesn't know how to teach. Avoid her classes at all costs.

I can't focus on her lectures. I teach myself with the textbook. She deserves the benefit of the doubt, though. Use your textbook.

the only people that bad-mouth dawne peterson are the ones that were too lazy to put an effort into anything and failed her class. logic is a tough subject even at the 100 level but she tries to make it easy. she is lazy with the tests, though.

It took her 2 motnsh to get a midterm back to the class, lost half the midterms, teaches out of the text, a negative person. You could pass this class if you want to, just dont take it

Dawne Peterson is the best Logic prof you're going to get. Seriously...if you're dumb enough to take Logic like me, at least take it by Dawne. She's kind, helpful, funny, and explains the test. And, most importantly, she always lets you go early!

She talks alot, I am in her night class so its hard to sit there and listen to her drabble on... she gets off topic alot. She is a good teacher, but not if you have to stay awake in her class for 2 hrs and 45 minutes. She knows her stuff though.

She talks very monotonously, mainly because she is as bored as we are with the subject matter. She still teaches it well though. She doesn't mind helping you catch up if you miss a class because she understands that not everyone wants to attend!

the texts we studied were hard, but she made them easier by explaining them. I did well, but it does seem like a hard class. However, compared to other profs.. i'd recommend her!
