If you show up to class and pay attention you will easily pass the class. The test for his upper-level courses are written. He does not count off for grammar and incorrect spelling but rather interest in the topic and your ability to communicate back to him what he discusses in class. Textbooks are not required. Have to attend Mandatory daysgrade.

Comment:

I added this class after it was full after emailing him. He was very understanding. The class was only a 4 week summer class. It only covered 4 chapters with 4 tests because it was so short. The questions were very straight forward and easy. Tests were not proctored. Never read the book but searched through it during tests and made an A.

He gives forums weekly and an exam every few weeks. The forums are easy. You just state your opinion on a given topic and quote some information out of the book. For the tests I usually used my book or looked up the questions online and did fine. It's an easy A and I recommend him.

Cultured, intelligent, witty: Mr. Sinclair does not miss a beat. Really cherish your time in his class because he is such a dynamic lecturer which is so fun to learn from. Test material comes from lectures, powerpoints, and bold text in the textbook. Attendance better chance for extra credit.

This professor is amazing. His class is pretty easy if you pay attention and attend class. He is very straightforward about what is on tests and always helps you with any problems. If I could I would definitely take him again. 11/10

SUPER easy class! Every week is a simple forum on the chapter for that week. It would be hard to fail the class. Every couple weeks is a test-open book. Questions are simple but it's timed. The class was a breeze!

In this class we were required to do a Discussion Board every week for 100 points. As long as you post in the forum by the due date, include a source, and post in paragraph form you will receive a 100 every week. Every 3rd week there was a test. If you review the study guide and power point for the chapter, the tests will not be hard for you.

Dr. Sinclair is an awesome teacher. I wish he could teach me everything. He makes learning interesting and he is very funny. Map quizzes are easy, and tests are easy too(all you have to do is study your notes and look at terms in the book). TAKE THIS CLASS, you won't regret it.

While he lectures the entire time and never cuts class short, Sinclair still manages to keep the topics interesting and is a very charismatic speaker. Taking notes is very important but he will always slow down and make sure that everyone in the class has the material down before he moves on. His quizzes are simple and the tests are easy.

I really liked this class and Dean. He is really helpful and his lectures are great when it comes to the test. You really have to take good notes. There are map quizzes which is an easy A if you study. Study and you will pass.
