She treats her class like a business. You have to be very professional and act like you are in a business setting. She gives a HUGE project that lasts all semester long and is really picky. If your writing is not very good be careful!

I'm sorry, but in the real world you will have to work in groups and not everyone in them will always give 100%. Stop griping about the group project and make the best of it. Dr. Dufrene is hard, yes, and you will have to work; but she's also very fair and a really nice person.

Beware! She literally wrote the book so she is very very particular about what she wants and how she wants it. The group project sucks and the tests are stupid hard! Since she wrote the book she wants all this xtra feedback, and midsemester it gets really old. Avoid if possible!

Try not to take this class unless you have no choice, you have to turn a portfolio which it is easy,but you have to do a program for the class and it is really hard it takes a lot of your work, have to do a presentation on the program , test are challenging, she is a great teacher but grades really hard, NO NOT take unless necessary.!!!!!!

An enjoyable class. I mean she literally wrote the book on it, so just read the chapters and you'll ace the tests. The group projects are fairly easy, but that depends on who is in your group. She also offers extra credit and online study aides. And she will respond to emails in about 30 min.

Tons of work outside of class for group project. Do quizzes on website for extra credit on tests. Website tools are a waste of time because they do not help prepare for the tests which are hard. Read & outline the chapters. Pray that you get a good group otherwise you're in trouble.
