I found Debbie's style challenging at first because I'm primarily an online student and she is VERY old school. Everything is paper/pencil traditional. But, she's a great teacher and willing to work with you if you care. She doesn't come across as the warmest person but she does really care about her students and you will do well if you work hard.

Calculus was very difficult for me in her class even after I had had her for pre-calculus. Her teaching style was a little different for calculus and she was a tougher teacher.

She used online HW tools when I took her class which pretty much garuntees you a 100% on the hw if you just work at it. I also found it helpful to study for tests because it could generate practice problems for you. The textbook wasn't really used and was available with the online hw program so I wouldn't encourage you to buy the book.

She is a good teacher in a sense that she really knows her stuff. she is good at making it understandable. she sometimes will make you look stupid if you dont know the answer, and on top of that she goes down the rows and calls on you so be expected to answer questions at least 2-3 times a class period.

Hardest math teacher ever. She is very thorough in her teachings which is nice, but she is a very hard teacher. She makes it a point to call on everyone at least twice in the class so you have to pay attention, and when you get an answer wrong she makes you feel incredibly dumb. If you're up for the loads of work, go for it.

Not an easy class if you don't want to put any work into it. All homework is done online, so the answers have to be correct in order to get a grade for them. Gives quiz's very often, so its a form of attendance that you can't make up. Tests cover all material gone over in class and are not the easiest, but manageable.

Debbie Yoklic is a great teacher. I learned more than I needed to know from her. I reccomend her for any math class if you are willing to work hard. She is a hard teacher if you do not do the work. I took her for 3 different math classes. I thank her for her inspiration.

Good demonstrations with graphing calculator, IF, you have the same calculator. Received a B for final grade. After talking with teacher and noticing scores posted for final, she admitted she is a tough teacher, and a B in her class would probably be an A in other teachers' classes! Tests are difficult! Lots of homework.

Class wasn't too difficult for me, but there were only four other students that passed the class.Others I know that have had her as an instructor have also noted a very high drop rate compared to other instructors.Her quizzes and activities were also given really late in the class so I was always late for my next class(my fault for poor scheduling)
