Probably the nicest and most caring professor I have ever taken. She does her best to make lectures interesting and encourages class participation. She is very easygoing, understanding, and always willing to help. As long as you take notes and show up to the test reviews you should get a good grade.

If this class is open with another professor take them instead! Very dry and long lectures that lack engagement with students. Unclear about directions and is difficult to get an answer out of. This class would be 100x easier if it was taught by someone else.

Comment:

Deborah has been one of the best professors I have had at MSU. She is very kind and really wants to see her students succeed. One group project (easiest thing ever) and 5 exams and a final exam. No homework and the review is exactly like the exam! I missed 3 classes in a row and pulled a 100% on that exam. Easy material, wonderful professor.

Comment:

The class itself is boring and LONG (night class) and a little horrible. Just so long and boring. the lectures are boring but you just sit through it and she gives very clear test reviews so your grades are fine. It's good to sit through lectures though to understand the stuff. Prof. Goodale is very very sweet and knowledgeable.

Comment:

Very sweet, helpful, & clear instructor. However, I feel the material was dated & offensive at times. Specifically, the book "Image of Success." It claimed things about appearance (tattoos, make-up, hairstyles)that I found inappropriate for the class. The class was not what I expected. It included personal marketing(resumes, interviews, job search)

I love Mrs. Goodale. 10/10 take her class. She is like a loving grandma and will always help you and make herself available to you. She actually cares, which is hard to find. Her tests aren't too bad because she usually gives a study guide. Take her class! You also don't really have to be in class but she gives you 10 bonus points for it.

Ms. Goodale was a good teacher, her tests aren't that hard if you go to the review. Don't take the night class unless you like a 3 hour long class. On the plus side you only met once a week but covered a lot of material. There are guest speakers that come in that are a nice change to class. She gives you all of the answers to the test on the review

She was lecture heavy and used a powerpoint, which you filled in the blanks with on your own copy. Lectures got to be pretty dry sometimes. If you go to the class period before a test she will give you a handful of test answers and tell you what to know. Reviewing study guides and looking over the notes should get you a good grade.

Professor Goodale was the nicest teacher I've had at MSU. The class is based off of some tests in which she gives you every single answer on the review day and one group project. This class is not time consuming at all and is one of the easiest A's you can get.

Goodale is a genuinely good professor and person- she's approachable and understanding. The lectures can be boring, but they're still worth listening to and taking notes for. Tests are ridiculously easy- she will do a review the class period prior where she gives you every answer word for word. There's a relatively large group project you must do.

If you show up for class, you'll pass. You in no way, shape, or form, need to buy the book for class---for MKT 150 or BUS 135. Just show up for review day and she'll give you all of the answers to the test from the get go. Her lecture consists of reading off of powerpoints and having you fill in the blanks. Very easy A overall.

Clear on what she wanted. If you go to the review day, she tells you all the answers you need on the exams, and the exams are just like that. She doesn't try to confuse or surprise you. She is really nice and cares about her students.

fabulous, attendance isn't mandatory if you're good with the review before the test though she does have two or so test questions from class every test and there are lots of bonus points for only missing one class per half of the semester. You definitely don't need the book but print the slides there are blanks!

Also, you don't need the book. One or two questions per test is all she asks from the book, and during the test review she usually covers these questions. Never received less than a 95 on a test. Does an extensive review before every test, and it's all mostly multiple choice, T/F, and matching. Take her!!

Mrs Goodale is a very nice lady, and a good teacher. If you take notes via the powerpoints she provides, it's difficult not to receive an A. I will finish with more points than the maximum, due to the fact she gives 20 extra points for attendance. The material can be bland, but the tests aren't difficult, and the group project is easy. No papers.
