Dr. Kennedy is one of my favourite professors. She cares about her students, gives great feedback and chooses very interesting books! She is a tough grader, but she is so nice that it just makes me want to work harder on my papers.

She is a very kind & sweet, she's also very understanding towards students, however, she's an extremely hard marker. I would get my papers edited at the writing centre & she still didn't like it. I tried my hardest on my papers & got nothing more than a B+ & other profs gave me an A or A-. She doesn't take pity no matter how much effort you put in

Prof. Kennedy is a great professor! She knows the material well and teaches it in an interesting way -- you want to know what happens next! She is funny too which helps. Attendance helps as the books covered can be confusing, and she explains it crystal clear! She is a very caring and nice Professor.

Real easy course, you do have to go to the classes imo, but her tests are real easy. the whole class was 2 quizes, an essay and a final exam just about books she tells you to read, and she'll tell you what exactly will be on the tests too.

Assignments are straight forward, nothing someone hasn't done by grade 10 or 11. She doesn't say anything thought provoking or dig very deep into texts to uncover possible/multiple meanings. She doesn't encourage students to give their ideas or opinions, if a student does she basically repeats what they say and tries to turn it into her idea.

very opinionated. Absolutely not open to alternative view points and interpretations... and don't even bother mentioning anything you wouldn't find on the NDP's idea and values. She was extremely boring, and she was obnoxiously displaying of her personal beliefs and opinions in her notes and analysis.

My highschool english teachers were harder. And much more interesting. I'm going into english as a major, but if I had to base my chosen discipline on this class, I would be running fast and far. She was very very easy, a tad obscure, and class was a complete bore. I didn't learn anything new at all.

Kennedy is an intelligent prof who expects alot.Although you will learn alot,it is very rare to recieve an A.Plus her midterm and final are extremly difficult to prepare for unless you have a photographic memory for quotes.Don't take this course unless you enjoy poetry and do not care about your gpa
