GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! Class. I just took the finals, which were open book and got a 98. Besides the grades you learn to appreciate Art a lot in her class, because she teaches from experience and makes the lectures that much more interesting. The shows were amazing too, and a good passage of time on weekends! I recommend this class ;)

This would be a cool class regardless, but Prof. Zalkind does a good job of giving us an overview of the dance world, past and present. She is very nice and it's an easy A as long as you SHOW UP - it's only six classes, so you can't miss any, and people still did. However, for a Juilliard dance grad, her French is unbelievably bad. Strange...

I LOVE Professor Zalkind! She is so legit, she went to Juilliard, she teaches at Broadway Dance Center too. She is so nice and as long as you come to class and are not late often, she is completely nice. Her class is very fun! Even if you have taken ballet, you will still learn a lot from the class. All levels are good, she is helpful to all!

Whether you are a dancer, or never took a step class in your life (like me), this class was well worth it. I've NEVER taken a class wishing I could take it over again. lol. You certainly learn so much about the dance world.

This class is so easy. You stretch for like an hour and then just dance across the floor. The moves mostly consist of step-touch. It's kind of boring it's so easy. I had every range of people in my class from professional ballerinas to complete nondancers and everyone was fine.

MOODY you really have to kiss ass and go to class everyday if you are late she humiliates you in front of the class, if you have no rhythm she has no problem etting you know and everybody else know... stay away from her she is a horrible person... horrible human being ...

thought the class would be easy. not hard but she definately has her faves who just happen to be professional dancers/ass kissers. says we all get a's if we miss no more than 3 classes. embarrasses you in front of entire class. take only if you have been dancing for years and kiss ass.

Dance Uno-Dos-Tres is the hot class to be in. Mrs. Z, as we called her, knew all the happening dance performances and the history behind them. The only problem I had was this jerk animu freak who was in the same class. If you ever get the chance, definately take this Bayside, Queens girl's class.
