First attendance is mandatory. She does not follow the syllabus so its very hard to know when things are due. We only had one test and that was from information from the book only so read before your first exam. She is very nice but the lectures are boring and not really needed. You will not know your grade until the end of the semester.

PROS: Overall Dr. Wengert is a sweet lady who genuinely cares about her students! THIS IS AN EASY A! All of our tests but one were take home. Easy subject. Always sends the class PPTs. CONS: 1. Usually shows up late 2. Not clear about her assignments/doesn't follow the syllabus 3. DONT BUY THE TEXTBOOK! Find it online for free. 4. Rambles a lot

Pretty average. She doesnt follow the syllabus at all. Pretty much showed up 10-20 min late for every single class (I had her first one of the day). Shes such a sweet lady, but her assignments are SO hard to understand because she doesnt give much detail about them. Take home tests are easy, if you have the textbook. No final exam or midterm.

Comment:

Nicest and one of the most caring professors you could take. She does not really use her syllabus, no midterm and had a presentation for final. Study for the tests and you will be fine, but beware her tests are targeted on the textbook and not what we learn in lecture. A very nice lady, and gave multiple options for extra credit!

Professor Wengert cares about her students but she never follows the syllabus so I never knew what was to be discussed the following class. Unclear grading criteria and she can be a bit dull. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. 1 Behavior Project, a couple take home quizzes, 1 Health Paper and 1 Powerpoint Presentation as the final.

Days after the semester is over and I still do not know my grade. She is sweet but very hard to understand when it comes to instructions about assignments. Does not follow syllabus after the first/two months into the semester and does not record grades into blackboard. Did not receive any graded work online, only posted final grade online.

She a really nice lady and she'll explain everything a thousand times over to help you out, but she doesn't really teach what's going to be on her tests. Her tests all come from some book, which she has the key to, and she grades them with said key. Many people don't do well on the test because she only sticks to the key.

Dr. Wengert is such a sweet lady who is very passionate about health. However, the material that she lectures about is generally not what is on the test. She lectures for the purpose of teaching you things that will be helpful to you in life, which is great, but she tests you on information from the textbook that she does not usually go over.

Dr. Wengert is such a sweet lady who will be there if you need help but the problem is she isn't clear on how she wants things done. Also, she didn't follow the syllabus and made the class up as she went along. Thank goodness I only took this class for a core.

Very nice lady but very confusing. Doesn't follow the syllabus well. Won't have a due date for an assignment but then out of no where will assign it with a quick due date coming up. Takes forever to get feedback on grades too. Also don't sit in the back of the classroom or you won't hear anything she says.

You never know what you're learning. She doesn't follow the syllabus. She tells you about a project and gives no explanations. We follow random power points that don't help and we watch pointless videos. You have no clue what is going on with this class. Its supposed to be easy but she doesn't teach so its not an easy A

I honestly have no idea what this class is even supposed to be about.. you watch random videos, get a million emails and will constantly be asking the person beside you if there was supposed to be homework. Testsquizzes are ridiculous, however your final is a powerpoint.

Don't buy the book there are other only 2 quizzes on 2 chapters which she provides PowerPoints for. She is nice but talks WAY too much going off on rants often. I'm 34 done and still don't know what the class is about. Easy A. 2 quizzes, grades attendance, and a PowerPoint as the final.
