The prof's good; he knows his stuff. It's funny how he's throwing all these names and places at us before the tests. Puts up all of his class material on ACE, so it's a bonus for those who "miss" class. Don't bother with the textbook; you can find all the relevant information within the course notes or even Google.

Despite all the critics out there I am a huge fan of this prof. He is very approachable and helpful - the paper assigned in class was quite interesting and had taken on a very different perspective from most papers expected in history courses. Can't wait to take an actual french class with him!(hopefully medieval french)
