If you take this class and really work, you will definitely see major improvement in your technique, as well as strength. She teaches from a functional point of view and gives you tools to move more efficiently. Her quizzes are difficult at first and you will probably struggle with them in your first semester with her but they get easier.

She is a good teacher, corrects you when things wrong. Quizes are extremly hard. First semester is always rough, then youll get the hang of it. Does have her favorites, so follow her syllabus and youll do fine.

She lacks charisma and reads straight from the book for all lectures. Tedious note taking from both lecture and video. Final project is an unnecessary, meaningless, wasteful, beast! Tests are short answer and require intense memorization skills. Would not recommend this course to my worst enemy :-( !

Delia had her favorites and it didn't matter how hard you try, if she didn't like you there was no way to change it. She was all over the place during her lectures and expected you to know what she was talking about at all times. Very unhelpful, no charisma and very boring. I would not take her again.

felt like she was condescending towards those that she didnt think were good enough. did things in class that ballet 1 did not go over, but she expected us to know it anyway.

I absolutely love her!! shes darling. she was a great ballet teacher. she gave corrections but not as many as i was use to comming from a strict ballet school. shes really easy as long as you try. technique doesnt matter. TAKE HER!
