I thought Dee was an excellent instructor. She was one of the best ones I have had at Mott. She got into what she was teaching and has alot of Social Work experience and knowledge. I thought she was very nice. Take her class you will be guarenteed that you will come out of there knowing the right information for that class.

I was dreading this class but I LOVED IT!. She is a great teacher with years of social work experience. Take good notes and study for the tests - they are a little hard. The term paper was very clearly explained and you had almost 3 months to do it. I really appreciated her, her class style and the material she taught. Wonderful teacher.

AMAZING TEACHER!! I love the class. She is not hard at all, if you show up for class you are golden. She is really nice and is more than willing to help you out if you have a problem. We get take home tests and have like 3 weeks to do them. Really good teacher!!

Mrs Lawson is a difficult teacher but not impossible to pass her class. First if you are taking her for social work remember to always do the reaction papers so you do not have to do the essay questions that are more difficult then the test. She gives a reaction paper before each test and as long as you have taking the notes in class you will pass.

Dee Lawson is a good teacher.If you come to class and put in a little effort you should get at least a 3.5 The only problem is you're only allowed 2 absences and then your grade goes down 2 whole grades. She's very strict on this!! She can also be moody.

I thought Dee was an excellent professor; She explains the material in an understandable fashion and is entertaining as well. She has had a wealth of experience in all fields of social work and this translates well to the classroom. I would take her again

Very fair and reasonable on assignments. She doesn't slash your grade if you turn something in a few days late. She goes over practically everything that is on the test in class. I would rate her as a very compassionate teacher.
